I reached out to four (4) pool companies before Yellow Duck. Not one of them called back. These guys picked up, showed up, and followed through every time. The project wasn't simple: new 5'×10' concrete pad, new pump, Pentair IntelliCenter, full electrical, and all new PVC lines on a 1989 pool. When the pad distance threw a curveball on the electrical and comm runs, Mark (the owner) didn't punt. He figured it out. Tucker did the field work and the craftsmanship was genuinely impressive; clearly enjoys what's he is doing. And Amanda ran point on communication the whole way through. Never had to chase anyone down for an update. The photos tell the rest of the story. If you've been burned by no-shows and unanswered texts in the SWFL pool world which, let's be honest, is most of us. Call Yellow Duck. Ask for Amanda, Mark, or Tucker. You won't regret it.
Marc Roger's at Yellow Duck Pool Repair came out immediately June 27 2025 when I called because our pool pump stopped working. He recommended to replace pump versus repairing. (Our pump was very old like us.) He was knowledgeable and very experienced in all aspects of the pool pump assembly. He returned June 30, 2025 and replaced pump. Mark went above and beyond taking care of not only our pool but my husband. My husband who is 79 soon to be 80 sat out in the hot sun watching Marc work. He became overheated and lightheaded. Marc walked him inside to cool down and sat and stayed with him till he was OK. Marc is from a military family and my husband a former Marine thoroughly enjoyed talking to him. You will be well taken care of by calling Marc for any pool repairs.
UPDATE: I AM SO HAPPY! From Amanda in the office to Pedro and the team who fixed my skimmer. This ends years of hunting for someone willing to do the job! I HIGHLY recommend this company!!! Amanda was so patient with me. My quote for replacing my skimmer ended up in my spam and she was wonderful answering all my questions and helped me locate my quote and offered to re-send. I will need more work done but this tells me alot about how respectful this company is!
Not only did Yellow Duck come, find and fix my leak quickly, but Marc took the time to explain every detail of the problem to me over the phone as I was in NYC at the time. I am elderly and have difficulty understanding technology but he was so patient with me and even sent photographs to help me understand. It was also explained how to combat problems in the future. But best of all, the rate charged was surprisingly low. True I didn't need any parts but still the price was very fair. I highly recommend Yellow Duck for all your pool needs except cleaning. They don't do that but I thank my regular cleaners Laguna Blue Pool Service for recommending Yellow Duck my way. And their office gals Summer and Jackie were also so pleasant and helpful. I'd give 10 stars if I could. This is my second review and Yellow Duck are terrific. This time they replaced my pool pump. It was expensive, but after checking, the price was fair . This time I dealt with Amanda on the phone. She and Mike the actual repairman are also 5 stars.
I, David Levin, opened the pool area for 7416 Sika Deer Way, Frank Lauro property, for your Technician, Braeden, to do a pool leak repair. I am Frank's neighbor across the street. I watched Braeden his magic most of the time he was there. I have to say, Braeden was very professional, very friendly, certainly knows his craft, is very thorough, & did an exceptional job. He diagnosed the problem very quickly, both pool skimmers leaking, did the repair, & verified there were no other possible leak sources, which included diving into the cold water of pool. There isn't one thing negative I can say about him. And, he is coming back tomorrow to verify the repair is still good & will last. I couldn't ask for anything more if this was done for me. In fact, I told Braeden, I have been using Yellow Duct for many years, & have always been very satisfied & I recommended Yellow Duct to Frank. I told Braeden, I have a skimmer leak, in one of 2 skimmers, that has been isolated by yellow Duck, at my request, & I'm planning on getting the skimmer replaced this season, & want Braeden to do that work for me.
