We rented a 30-yard roll off construction dumpster and two 4-yard dumpsters. Many problems. Drivers don't follow directions. Once the 30-yard container was delivered to the wrong address. They come whenever they want, not according to the agreed upon appointment time window with customer service and me. A couple times Customer Service cancelled the pickup and return of the dumpster. The two 4-yard dumpsters still have not been picked up after I closed the account on 2/1/2025 when we vacated the site. The site is now vacant, and the landowner has the gate locked up 100% of the time. I tried coordinating a pickup time with WM customer service and the landowner. I have had over 10 calls to customer service. They are very nice. However, the WM drivers do come out at the agreed upon time window and the landowner cannot wait all day for the driver. So now after 3 months of vacating the site, the two WM 4-yard dumpsters remain at the site behind a locked gate. I have given up working with WM. The landowner has tried to contact WM to coordinate a pickup time but the drivers still do not come out when they are supposed to. WM has a major breakdown in communication somewhere between customer service/dispatchers/drivers.
Setting up a new commercial service account for garbage and recycle was very easy.
I want to thank Mr Thomas at the training facility in FL. My son's father is there and has said nothing but good things about him. He even was understanding when Johnathan told him about the death of my mother, our son's grandmother. Our son wasn't taking it well and I let Johnathan know. He advised Mr Thomas the next day and he was there for John. Thank you for being there for him and being a trainer and person he could turn to.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. WM has doubled the price of our 1 barrel, with one 13 gallon bag a week to just about $100/month. When we asked if we could share with the office space next door, we were told NO. We are a new, small store, and with NO notice, they just doubled our price. They will NOT let me cancel, they would rather hurt the small businesses trying to get started because of their greed. And, according to the "Rules" that they quoted from, they are supposed to give us a recycle bin, yeah, that did not happen. It's whatever they want, and the hell with the little guy. ****Edited to add*** I went over WMs heads, spoke to someone at City Hall, and we no longer have to deal with WM. Oh Happy Day! We got authority to cancel our services and share with the small office next door.
