A Must-Visit Gem: The Crazy Flamingo If you are looking for the perfect spot to catch a game and enjoy incredible food, look no further than The Crazy Flamingo. This spot is a top-tier sports bar that hits all the right notes for a relaxed, enjoyable outing. I opted to sit outside, which provided a fantastic atmosphere, but what truly elevated the experience was the service. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The food, however, is the real star of the show: * The Beef Hot Dog: An absolute must-try. It is huge, satisfying, and elevated by a fantastic house-made relish that makes all the difference. * The Gulf Shrimp: If you are a fan of seafood, do not pass these up. They are steamed fresh and are, without a doubt, the best you will find on Marco Island. Between the vibrant sports bar energy and the high-quality, delicious menu, this place is a total winner. I had a wonderful time and am already counting down the days until I can head back for another round. Highly recommended!
Great food and fun. Good food with an unusual process to order and pick up your food/eat. Order at the counter and they will call you when fresh out of the kitchen. Grouper sandwich blacken on their garlic bread and shrimp basket was great. Perfect size shrimp so you can actually have the great taste. See the picks of both. Visit and you will enjoy. Very reasonable pricing.
Went to this restaurant for the first time with my boyfriend because he was raving about the chicken sandwich him and a co-worker had a while ago as they used to go to this establishment a lot. We were going to order alcoholic beverages because it seemed like it was a bar but they actually only serve wine and beer so we got soft drinks instead. For an appetizer we ordered the conch fritters which were dry and overcooked. I ordered the chicken sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the Mahi sandwich. Both of the sandwiches we ordered were grilled and they came out basically black. They tasted like the propane from the grill and had old black pieces on them as if they haven't brushed the grill in quite a while. The only thing that saved the sandwiches were the condiments and bread. Hoping to end the experience with something a little more tasteful we decided to order one slice of the key lime pie for dessert. We get it and it's frozen. You can't cut through it with a knife or the filling breaks apart from the crust and my boyfriend ended up eating it like a popsicle. To top it off as we were paying, I understand she may have meant well, but it was kind of presumptuous as she said "enjoy the rest of your vacation". However, we're not vacationers, we have lived in Collier County our entire life and all we wanted to do was try a new place we haven't been to before and find a new great experience for food. Sad to say that the great comments my boyfriend had been previously boasting about this establishment no longer meet the same standards and he is disappointed with the decline of the service. We hope if we do decide to go again the food and experience will be much better.
This is as close to a local spot as ive found since ive lived here. Great staff, best classic bar food on the island. Beer and wine only, they will cook your catch of the day. The chicken burrito shows up as a special, its excellent. I hesitate to recommend it, only because i don't want it to be so crowded i cant get in!
We loved The Crazy 🦩 Flamingo for a casual dinner. The oysters on the half shell were cold and very good. We all enjoyed our meals. The clam linguine with white sauce and garlic bread was delicious. The steak sandwich may be the favorite item on the menu. We would have eaten outside, but the wind changed our minds. But, they do have outdoor covered seating or indoor seating.
