Nice sunset views, but no shade so if you're sensitive to sunburn, prep accordingly. Cocktails and food were mediocre, service was slow but our server seemed overwhelmed trying to take care of the whole patio. Tuna appetizer was bland and only somewhat helped by the olives and capers, could have used more flavor. Olives were good. Salmon was overcooked but the Israeli couscous side was tastier than the fennel that came with the Chilean sea bass. On the dessert, the green sponge cake garnish was so odd, it had zero flavor and didn't make sense or complement the dish. Nothing really stood out. Worth trying once but probably wouldn't come back - there are other restaurants with nice views of the ocean at sunset with better food and drinks.

If you're looking for a remarkable dining experience, look no further than the Tesoro JW Marriott! I celebrated my birthday here, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were seated at a table with an incredible view that set the perfect ambiance for the celebration. Our server, Sherri, was outstanding—her attentiveness and warmth made us feel truly special throughout the evening. The manager, Dylan, was equally impressive, checking in on us regularly to ensure everything was perfect. It’s clear that the staff is committed to providing a top-notch experience. A special mention goes to Chef Tony, who personally visited our table to greet us. His thoughtful gesture added a wonderful personal touch to our celebration. And let’s not forget the birthday cake—it was delicious and beautifully crafted, making the occasion even more memorable. Overall, my experience at Tesoro JW Marriott was exceptional. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a fantastic meal. Thank you to the entire team for making my birthday unforgettable!

Tesoro feels very much like what it is: a resort restaurant charging resort prices. The food is fine, but nothing really rises above average. The grouper sandwich was well-cooked, and enjoyable while the Calabrese pizza was far less memorable. It’s an easy, convenient option if you’re already on property, but not a place I’d go out of my way for or rush back to.

The view is to die for. There is not a better spot to catch the sunset. Make reservations and get there early. This spot made the best rum runners.

Ambiance was great. Rooftop restaurant with a great view of the beach and sunset. Service was good too, we celebrated my husbands birthday and they gave us a free dessert. The food was pretty average and overpriced in my opinion. We are vegetarian, options are limited and modifications had to be made. We ordered truffle smashed potatoes which didn't have much truffle taste. Typically smashed potatoes have a crunchy texture to them, these seemed like they were just boiled and weren't baked or fried to get that crispy texture you look for with smashed potatoes. We also got the house green salad, honestly tasted like a salad you get in a bag from a grocery store. Cheese pizza was good but overpriced. The tiramisu tasted like it had been sitting around for days, texture was really soggy. Service and ambiance would be the main reason I ever go back to Tesoro. The views were great!
