Prospective guests should know...My wife and I had the horrifying experience of renting a unit managed by Sun King Rentals. My wife left a review here on Google stating our grievances and their response speaks for itself. Sue and Dan Boyle, owners of Sun King Vacation Rentals, refused to fix the AC unit, threatened to arrest us for trespassing and then sue us for $100,000 UNLESS we agreed to not say anything about their company. We left the unit after one night of a seven day stay because it never went below 76 degrees. Due to their harsh response and threats to our complaint, we did not feel comfortable staying in the unit one more night. Suggesting we sabotaged the toilet and ac is laughable. Having rented through VRBO, we reached out to them. We presented videos, pictures and correspondence from Sun King Owners. We received a refund from VRBO for the nights we did not stay, contrary to them saying we did not. I am sure Sue and Dan Boyle will respond to this review in a similar fashion as they did my wife. They will claim we unexpectedly departed after being told we were breaking a Florida law. I am not sure why it was unexpected when we were threatened to be arrested for trespassing. They will claim all the beds and couches were being slept in, therefore we had 6 guests. We had to cover the couches due to a used product being found in between the cushions of the sofas. Again, video proof sent to VRBO. Is it against Florida law to cover a couch? My wife and my two adult children were the only ones in the unit. Video proof of the lease presented to the HOA was sent to VRBO. They will say they are a VRBO Premier host, unknown at this time because the listing we rented has since been removed from VRBO. Odd? Finally, Sue and Dan Boyle decided to leave reviews about my wife's business, suggesting there is a trend? The correct context would be to state there are currently 209 reviews of my wife's business, 204 of which are 5 STAR. Prospective guests, can you spot the real trend? Our vacation was a nightmare cut short. We experienced nothing but aggravation, undue stress and added financial expenses leasing a unit managed by Sun King Rentals.

No surprises... from initial contact to check in/check out. Sue took time to map out all details and meet with us upon arrival, ensuring a great experience. Our 3rd vacation on Marco over the past several years... would use Sun King again.
