I needed to buy a door so I called them. No one has ever called me back. I’ve filled out forms and called about 10 times, but they won’t sell to me. It might be the NYC cell phone that I have. I guess they discriminate and don’t want to sell to NYers. This sucks because I need a new door and I would like to get Emtek hardware, so I need a place that has the products that I want. Maybe they don’t like blacks, who knows. It’s a shame in this day and age to be that much against doing business with some people.
The Sales Crew, especially those behind the counter, are friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. I’ve worked with Michelle, Cody, Spencer, Dominic, Ricardo, Jeremy, Jake, Scott and Mark for many years. They work cohesively as a team to make sure that I get the products and materials that I need to be able to continue to grow my business.
Smith & DeShields has been our trusted supplier for trim, interior doors, and hardware on numerous projects. Their product quality and customer service are consistently excellent. Smith & DeShields is an outstanding local company with reputable staff, can't say enough about the company, their virtues and their corporate culture. We renovated out home Summer/Fall of 2022, and ordered all our millwork from them (ship lap, base molding, door casing and doors) as well as all our door hardware!). Customer service was great all the way through, they worked with us on our overage/returns and came back to fix a faulty front door install (not their fault, the installers!) over a year after installed with no expectations from us. If you are new to the area, like we were, this is one Naples local company you want to form a partnership with for your next uplift or build.
