I had never heard of Cuban style pizza before stumbling across Rikat’s. So glad I did. Delicious fluffy crust and sweet sauce.
I'm thrilled to have found this hidden place yesterday! The best Cuban pizza I've ever had in many years, the amount of tomate sauce is perfect, the dough tastes delicious and the cheese tastes like a good quality one. I'd like to congratulate the owners and wish them more success in their endeavors, and guide others to try this little but wonderful restaurant. The service was excellent. I'll be back soon.
The owners called the next day and apologized. They were closed because it was New Year's Day, but their online ordering system still took the order. They use Doordash for delivery and the driver called to try to tell us the shop was closed but it was lost in translation. I'm changing my review from 1 star to 3 because they called and gave us a refund. ------------------------------------------- This order was for my kids supper. We placed an order at 7:41pm. We attempted to call to get an update around 830. Someone called us back around 9 and said "soon." Then they text us the same message. We tried calling at 9:30 and received a message that they were closed. Then we got a message that our order was cancelled. No reason was given. By then it was 9:30 - two hours after we placed the order - and we have no food for our kids. We had to place an order at Dominos because at least we know they will fulfill it. We paid for the pizza so hopefully they will give us a refund.
The pizzas are absolutely delicious and keep you coming back for more. The customer service is outstanding and truly sets them apart. I highly recommend Rikats, and I can’t wait for them to open their own location! I have no doubt it will be a huge success!
