So my grievance with this company stems from years ago but with the legal issues and stuff I never left a review so here it is. I asked them to make me a deck that wrapped around my pool and to have my hottub sit down in the deck on a paver so I could use it for my disabled brother's aqua therapy. They were recommended to me by recreational warehouse. He came out got half up front and he said the other half would be paid when job was done 45000 was the total with the screen enclosure. Well it took almost a year for them to start the job and I couldn't get ahold of him because he only used text msg and wasn't till I was wanting my 1st deposit back they came out and started to work. There were some issues while it was being built so he asked me for more money to get the materials to continue with it i agreed. Keep in mind he never actually wrote out a contract plan and had me sign it. Then months later when the job was "done" hendry county failed it cuz there wasn't an access panel to get to the electric of the tub (that he hooked up even tho he wasn't suppose to). Which cause me to investigate and see a bunch of problems like missing supports in the middle of the deck which made it dip into a bowl shape and we had to order wood to fix. But he wanted the payment for it being finished even tho it failed inspection and had all these problems with it then when I told him that it needed a way to access the electric he wanted more money I refused cuz the jobs not done. At this point the tub is running but all the water was leaning to one side really bad. So we drained it pulled it out the hole to find no paver under the tub just pvc pipe and my old bricks from my old walking path holding it up and damaging my new 15000 tub on one corner. So knowing this I inform him he wouldn't get the rest if his money and he put a lean on my house. So I got a lawyer who was helping build my case I had pics and all the stuff im putting in this msg. It got to the point to where it seemed they were grasping at straws. More to the point they said the paver was never part of the plan and I could not for the life of me find the paper that stated there would be. So with lean on house I fired my lawyer and waited to see if id be taken to court (which I was hoping for) which they never pursued and remove the lean on my house and never got paid the remaining balance cuz they know what they did im sure. They were so bad at customer service that recreational warehouse stopped recommending them to people cuz of what they did to me. Then about a week after the case closed out I found that paper taking about the 8 inch paver that was suppose to be under it. Needless to say we had to fix the deck put the tub on top of the wood. Im currenly able to finally fix it now since I recently fell thru it Just dont use them to build a deck or actually care about you because they dont. Ps. My brother never went into the tub cuz he didnt feel safe being lifted over and into the tub he has cereberal palsy and is fragile so thanks for nothing id give 0 stars if I would. Hilarious and false reply and look at you attacking me personally thats shows all thats needed about your charecter sir. Bet u still dont get recommended still by recreational warehouse huh? I wonder y tht is. Is it because im "lying" as u claim or is it because they kno the truth I kno the truth and so does everyone one that step foot on that deck. So go ahead and be in denial the truth is u swindle money from a disabled person for a shotty job that he never got to enjoy so again thanks bud. Oh and our dogs have always been inside dogs so idk what ur taking about there again grasping at straws.

PJ and Sons is the first company I would go back to for any future projects. They are professional, courteous and worked dillegently on the project thru completion. The materials for the job were pre-engineered so fabrication on our worksite was minimal and the build was done quickly. Kudoes to Kurt and and his team. Thank you!

We had to update our cage following Hurricane Ian. Mike was incredibly helpful during the entire process, from the quote to the installation. The crew was kind and professional, and the installation took somewhat less than three days.

PJ & Sons of SWFL did an excellent job installing a picture window and replacing all other lanai screens with a superior product. Kurt Hopson’s expertise as a general contractor was an immense help coordinating and navigating the challenges working with the marble paver installation team. Kurt is a perfectionist which is reflected in his company’s work.👍

After calling 10+ companies post Ian, PJ & Sons was the only company to return my call within the week. After communicating with the sales team and signing a contract PJ & Sons completed the job. Kurt kept in contact with us throughout the process. The wait time was a little longer than I expected, but they were upfront from the beginning with scheduling and product lead times. It was to be expected with the conditions they were up against. I would refer Kurt and his team and would use them again.
