Researched best pizza in Naples. Palumbo’s Pizza came up highly rated. Ordered the classic supreme. Topside ingredients were solid, however, minimal cheese. Crust was soggy and brunt (see photo below). When I went to leave feedback on the website by selecting a thumbs down all I got were three blue flashing bubbles and no opportunity to leave comments. Tried a couple of different times. I proceed to select thumbs up and the outcome was encouragement to tell the internet! So you select thumbs up and you can tell the internet, you select thumbs down and you are cancelled. Disappointing!
Without a doubt, our favorite pizza in Naples. Sal and his team run a fantastic restaurant, outstanding food, service and atmosphere!! And the best show in town, sitting at the counter watching the kitchen turn out premium quality product!!!!
Quaint Italian place with subway tile and small tables, friendly service and great pizza, but not cheap. The thin crust has crispy crust around the edges ... similar to a hand tossed crust at other places. Try the deluxe combination pizza and the hot cherry peppers for a bit of a kick. Add an order of eclairs for a great finish. Lunch special is two cheese slices and a softdrink for a good price.
We always enjoy our meal at Palumbo’s. We typically get a pizza but on occasion get meals and have never been disappointed. I agree they are on the pricey side but I get what I pay for without question. If I wanted a $7 pizza I know where else to go.
Absolutely love this restaurant. We stopped in and were instantly greeted by a man behind the counter. He seemed genuinely happy to have us. We were a larger party, and he made accommodations to seat us rather quickly. The food and service were also spot on. Do yourselves a favor and treat yourself to some amazing food with a comfortable family atmosphere. I will definitely return every time I come to visit the area!! To the owners, please thank your staff for the great experience.
