Kyle was fantastic, especially with our 8-year-old. He was incredibly patient, kind, and made us feel comfortable even though we were complete beginners. We booked this trip for our 13 year old, who loves fishing, but our whole family ended up having an amazing time. Seeing dolphins was an unexpected highlight, and Kyle even took the time to let them play in the boat’s wake. It was an unforgettable experience, and we certainly made a lot of memories. Thank you!
Absolutely spectacular time fishing with Captain Cooper. This was our 2 1/2 yo daughter's first fishing trip and Cooper made it a wonderful experience. He was very patient, friendly and fun to be out on the water with. The boat was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed a nice ride out to our destinations. The fishing was great, and we brought home a bunch of snapper and trout. Cooper did a nice job filleting the fish and packing them on ice. It was a really great day -- would book this again in a heartbeat.
Way better than I expected! When my husband told me we were going on a fishing trip, I was truthfully nervous. But this was an exceptional experience, especially with Kyle who made it easy and bougie for us. He constantly had us hooked with new bait.. sometimes before we even realized he was on it. It was really nice not having to touch any of the shrimp bait and have Captain Kyle that took care of everything for us. He even out-ran a storm for us to sunny skies. We caught a bunch of different fish - squirrel, fish, lady fish, blue fish bonnet, shark, jacks, and lady fish. And we saw lots of dolphin. They came right up to our boat. And then later in the day Kyle got the dolphins to play in the wakes behind the boat. So amazing! Our 2 teens even had a good time. Highly recommend this company and Kyle as the Captain. Really fun day!!
One of the best experiences for my son and I. Captain Kyle was the best! He was very knowledgeable, experienced, fun, and patient with my 6 year old son, who was a newbie to fishing. In no time, my son was fishing on his own and caught some great fish. He promised his grandma a fish and brought back some Spanish mackerel and snapper that he caught and he was so proud. He really wanted to catch a shark and it happened. He took a picture and was happy to release it back to the water. My son loved it and wants a fishing rod for Christmas. The best fishing charter I’ve ever been on and will definitely use them on the next one. I highly recommend them. Thanks to Captain Kyle and Native Guided Fishing for making some beautiful core memories for my son that he will never forget. What a perfect day!
Native Guided Fishing Charters helped my family have a great time. It was a big group with my wife, my two daughters, two of their friends and myself. None of us have much experience fishing, but were enthusiastic to try. Kodie spent several minutes with me on a call providing details and options and recommendations on our trip. He looked at the weather and tide conditions along with the fish’s expected behavior for the time of year. Kodie recommended the trip with the most favorable fishing conditions that fit in the window of our schedule while we were visiting the island. On the day of our trip, Captain Kyle was our guide and captain. The boat and equipment were top notch. The boat had a 300HP Yamaha 4-stroke that provided plenty of power and speed yet was quiet enough that we could talk. The ride was smooth and comfortable. We fished several different spots on our trip and caught fish at each one. Kyle got us on fish and would move whenever the action died down. Kyle kept us going with support as well. He kept folks baited up and could straighten things out when our lines would get crossed. The boat had enough room for all six of us to actively cast and reel. It was a fantastic trip and Kyle cleaned and iced our catch after we returned. He even recommended a local restaurant to prepare our catch to eat for supper. I highly recommend Native Guided Fishing Charters and think that they should change their name to Native Guided “Catching” Charters. We all had such a great time fishing and will look them up again next time we’re here.
