A well executed Irish Pub concept! Literally half of the bar is indoors and the other half outside with plenty of seats in a nod to the original Public Houses established in Ireland centuries ago. Their Irish-influenced gastropub menu does not disappoint! This is a great gathering spot!
We have been frequenting McGregor’s since they first opened. We’ve recently moved even closer to the pub and it’s become one of our top date night spots. I even chose to celebrate my birthday there in January with my family! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff always seem friendly and eager to converse and accommodate. The food is THE absolute best (stitches in thyme, their soup flight, and hoggin’ Molly, and their delicious desserts are my faves!) Not to mention, they always have the best live music line ups! The owner Tom is down to earth and always eager to please his patrons, giving the pub such an old school, neighborhood pub vibe that a lot of places lack nowadays. If you are new to town, or just wanting to try an out a great local spot, McGregor’s is IT!
By far our favorite Irish Pub in SWFL!! The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is great. And if you enjoy live music; catching the game on TV or simply watching the streets of Ireland “Live” in real time, this is the place to hang. Cheers to more shenanigans at McGregors Public House ☘️🍻🇮🇪
First time there and we really enjoyed it. The service was great and the food really good. It has a great atmosphere. If you like beers and ales this is the place to go. Good mix of indoor and outdoor seating. You will feel welcomed here.
Great place for a bite. From Irish whiskey to Irish morsels we like this place. I had the flight of soups and that was filling. Hubby had a Pastie he loved it. Get the Feckin Key Lime pie too it's worth it. Good Irish feel great Irish food. And loads of drinks and beers to choose from. Employees are helpful and fun. We will be back soon.
