My family and I had the most wonderful time. Everything was great and all the staff we interacted with were fantastic and genuine. The room was spacious and clean. The interactions with the bell staff were timely and quick. The food and drinks were delicious and enjoyed the various happy hours. The setup of the coffee/pizza outlet right along the walkway provides a nice place to grab something on the go. We loved the outdoor pool setup being significantly large, and easy access to the beach. Our daughters loved being able to go play in the sand for a period of time and then be able to go swimming in the pool afterwards. We will be back and will recommend this property to all our family and friends!

We had such a great stay at Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and has an amazing relaxing vibe from the moment you arrive. The staff was friendly and attentive, the rooms were modern and comfortable, and the location right by the beach was perfect. We especially loved the atmosphere, the music, the pools, and how easy it was to just disconnect and enjoy the weekend. Everything felt new, fun, and very well maintained. Definitely one of our favorite beach getaways in Florida — we can’t wait to come back!

Went here on a Saturday night with friends (out of season) and it was packed! Our server Maria was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding menu. Food was phenomenal! We are south end FMB residents and are so excited for the comeback of the beach with new dining options. Very clean, beautiful resort, amazing gulf view while you dine. Highly recommend!

Recently, we were staying on the south end of Fort Myers Beach, and decided to eat at one of the restaurants for dinner. Although dinner was great, that’s not why I’m writing this review. After we finished dinner we were walking back through the courtyard and thought it was a great layout with mobile bars and a bandshell. It was 19 pm and things were wrapping up for the night so we clouded we wanted to come back when things were hopping again. Since we weren’t staying at the hotel, we also wanted to know what part of the grounds we were welcome to as restaurant guests, and what part of the grounds were private for hotel guests. We wanted to get a little inside scoop and saw a security guard walking by. We stopped him and asked a few questions so we could have an inside track when we came back the next day. He was the kindest person and not only answered our questions but made recommendations for breakfast in your courtyard and even walked us around a little. He spent about 5-10 minutes talking with us and being a tour guide for your resort. My wife and I thought to ourselves, this guys is a security guard, but went above and beyond to represent your resort at the highest level. He could have very easily answered our question and been in his way in 30 seconds but he engaged with us and went well beyond his responsibilities as a security guard. He gave a 5 Star experience worthy of a Google review so everyone knows, you have a rock star employee in Bob, the security guard.

Overall, I’d say everything about the experience was just okay. The rooms were small, and they smelled very musty just bad during our whole 3-night stay. With how expensive the drinks were, we were expecting them to be a lot better. It was hit or miss with having a kind bartender or someone who seemed annoyed that we ordered. Service at the restaurants was usually decent, but sometimes slow. The pool atmosphere was very loud and lively. I definitely understand that’s some people’s cup of tea, so just something to be aware of. The restaurants on site were probably the best part. The convenience was great with them being on site, and most of the food was very good. Be aware of the taxes and extra charges that will be applied to your stay in addition to what you pay when you book your stay.
