I called, scheduled an appointment, and the technician showed up right on time. He worked his magic, and just 31 minutes later, VOILA! The AC was up and running. Mike was respectful of my home, took the time to explain what he was doing, and offered helpful recommendations on how to better care for my unit. The pricing was extremely fair, and I truly felt well taken care of throughout the entire process. This company clearly demonstrates integrity and professionalism. Thank you very much!
We've had limited experience with this company. That said, their techs are wonderful! Polite, professional, and knowledgeable. My issue is, we had a service call (preventative maintenance) on 5/15 after we were experiencing issues with the AC. Tech flushed the line, and did a thorough inspection. Everything was working fine. The unit is less than 3 years old. On 6/6, the whole unit stopped working. The tech came out the following morning (super grateful for a Sunday service call!) and informed us that the control board was fried. Nothing happened between 5/15 and 6/6. No power outages or flickers. The part is covered under warranty. Great. The tech said labor should be about $150 or less, but he wasnt sure. He had an old price sheet. Monday came and a tech fixed in the control board in 25 mins. I timed it from our cameras. This includes the time spent sitting in his vehicle documenting the service. Both my husband and I were at work. Then the bill came. $339. For 4 screws, two wires, and 25 minutes. Marco charges $339/hour (even if they"re not here for an hour and it's a simple fix by comparison)... for a warranty issue... just a few weeks after a thorough inspection. Also, I don't appreciate being sent the same invoice multiple times over two days. We get it, you're labor is expensive. I should add, my husband is a 100% disabled veteran.
Mark was our technician. Our a/c was not cooling. He arrived within a couple of hours after calling for service. Mark diagnosed the issue, explained what was happening and corrected the problem quickly. Our a/c was back on within the hour. We appreciated him correcting the issue and not trying to sell us another product. We have been very pleased with the service from Marco’s.
We have been using Marco air-conditioning for years because of their dependability, reasonable prices, and very dependable technicians. We have referred them to our neighbors when they needed a new air conditioning system, and they were very well pleased. You will not go wrong by choosing Marco air conditioning.
Subject: Extremely disappointed—Warranty not honored for installation oversight I am beyond frustrated with the service (or lack thereof) provided by this company. After installation of new HVAC system on a brand new house, it became clear that my system was underperforming because it was under-filled with refrigerant from day one. When I reached out to have this corrected under warranty, I was getting the run around from both the builder and this company. Builder was saying to contact HVAC company listed in the HVAC unit and this company stating to contact builder. After multiple emails and phones calls that were not returned by builder I emailed this company, and they refused to honor warranty for their work. Issue is that the distance between the evaporator and the condenser unit require more refrigerant than the standard factory charge—a basic technical requirement that their installers should have calculated and accounted for during the initial setup. Instead of taking responsibility for an incomplete installation, they are now trying to pass the cost of the additional refrigerant and labor onto me. It is incredibly disappointing to see a company refuse to stand behind their workmanship for a mistake they made during the install. If you are looking for a team that follows through on their warranty and understands the technical specifications of the equipment they install, I suggest looking elsewhere. I expected professional service but received an expensive headache instead.
