Fun fun fun 😁 I would never have stayed here pre Ian, but now I can't wait to go back! The room was great. Beds great. View the best & affordable! Island view restaurant was perfect! Fabulous dirty martini, oysters Rockefeller & crab leg dinner all delicious! Swimming pool tile will burn your feet, so don't forget your flip flops!

Here's our take on Lani Kai. First, the negatives. Our room was dated to say the least. Cheap masonite in the bath area. Pipes rattled. Cheap flooring that is chipping up in spots. The complaints about the mattress is a real thing. If you like the smell of pot smoke, you'll thoroughly enjoy the balcony. When the compressor kicked on for the a/c, sounded like a sonic boom in the middle of the night. We went down to the pool, found some empty chairs, opened the umbrella, set up shop, ditched the flip flops, only to be be greeted by lava hot, foot melting bricks. I hurried to the ladder, lowering myself into the deep end, just to get my butt wet, where I was greeted by a staff member telling me that I had to get out of the pool due to lightning in the area. I totally get that. I then told her she needed to do a better job at stopping people from entering the pool, like maybe a sign at the gate, Pool Temporarily Closed due to Lightning, or stand guard. Lightning is a thing down here so this can't be the first time. She told me she did her job as she stopped me from getting into the pool. I told her, I should never have gotten that far if she was watching. We wanted to have dinner at the Island View Restaurant, only to find a small sign in the elevator that it was closed for renovations. If there were other signs stating so, we didn't notice them, nor looked. Nothing was noted in the website that it was closed. Also note, the hotel staff kept the elevator by the pool in service mode, on a Saturday, so they can clean the rooms. The positives: The location. They played a great selection of music, to us it wasn't obnoxious or deafening. They keep the beach clean, manicured, plenty of chairs/umbrellas. Though I saw dozens of people ignore the QR code and use the rentals for free. The price was right, but, you get what you pay for.

We came with a party of about 11 to eat upstairs for our friend’s birthday and Chris was awesome! Super attentive and was such a good time! He made sure our friend had an awesome dinner. He even lit her cake and brought it out for her! We went downstairs afterwards to the bar and security kept the awesome atmosphere going. They also had awesome energy, helped us tie down her balloons and look for her missing earring! Definitely looking forward to coming back soon.

My family and I recently dined at the Skywalk Restaurant, situated on the rooftop. Our visit coincided with the sunset hour, and I must commend the truly spectacular view. This experience is highly recommended for all visitors to Lani Kai. The cuisine was delectable, and the portion sizes were generous, especially considering the reasonable pricing. As an individual, I selected the prime steak, which was seasoned impeccably and cooked to perfection. My sincere compliments to the chef and kitchen staff. The service we received was, without exaggeration, exceptional and unparalleled. My family and I were thoroughly satisfied and unequivocally recommend Lani Kai.

I had the pleasure of eating at Grace’s while Michael D’Amore ( He is amazing) was performing. The menu was diverse and reasonably priced for a beachfront restaurant. Views are tremendous. The food was very good. The management and waitresses are superior. I had scallops with artichoke hearts, which was excellent. My wife was disappointed that the Veal was a bit chewy. The other couple had veal Parmesan which was a humongous serving and clams over linguine. Both were delicious. The servings were surprisingly large. My wife ordered a Caesar salad, which Would have served four. I live in Fort Myers and have recommended this restaurant to my Friends.
