Was seated at a great table when we arrived. Sylvia was our server. How pleasant she was and how authentic. The food was yummy and the service was great. My husband had the veal picatta. Chicken Marsala was not on the menu but they made it for me anyway. The fried cauliflower appetizer will feed 3-4 ppl easily.
We had an excellent dinner, taken care of by Pablo who was really attentive and friendly. Delicious sturdy shrimp cocktail, seafood fra diavolo and moules frites. The mussels come in either marinara sauce or garlic white wine sauce. We chose the white wine and added truffle fries to DIY moules frites and it was so good. The seaside 75 and the intense American mule were also tasty beverages. The flourless chocolate torte was probably the only thing I thought was just average. The fresh berries were ripe and sweet but I thought the torte itself was not very exciting.
We absolutely loved our breakfast at La Tavola. Everything was fantastic from the pancakes to the benedict to the hash. Our server was so kind and accommodating with the few dietary asks we had. All the staff we interacted with were so attentive and sweet. The best family owned restaurant, highly recommend you visit them!
The layout of the inside is interesting and cute, the outside patio is nice and romantic. The food super exceeded our expectations, some of the best plates we’ve tried. For 3 spent about $275 including 4+ cocktails. Recommend 10/10! In the photos is the crispy duck, beef carpaccio, octopus, and martini drink.
I went to Mass and decided I'd go to eat at the 1st restaurant that I saw an advertisement in the bulletin and LaTavola did not disappoint! Everything was perfect from the 'Seaside French 75' to the perfectly prepared linguine with shrimp and scallops. Robert, my waiter was attentive, not bothersome. The music was outstanding. Definitely a one and do again!
