Vinny and his wife (L & V Roofing) were an absolute pleasure to work with—thoroughly professional and reliable from start to finish. We decided to replace our 7-year-old composite roof with a metal one in preparation for a future solar installation, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. From our first meeting, Vinny was punctual, knowledgeable, and transparent. He provided a fair and competitive estimate using high-quality gauge metal, even bringing samples to help us visualize our options. We ultimately chose a dark gray roof complemented by slightly darker gutters, and the result looks fantastic. While Vinny’s quote wasn’t the lowest we received, it also wasn’t the highest—and the value for the quality of work and materials far exceeded our expectations. The team got to work the very day our permit was approved, removing the old roof and cleaning up the site all within a single day. The following week, the dry inspection was completed, and installation of the new metal roof began promptly—even continuing over a Saturday. When rain delayed progress, the crew still showed up on Monday to assess conditions, ultimately having to finish the job Tuesday morning. Throughout the entire process, Vinny maintained constant communication and kept us updated at every step. Of all the contractors we’ve worked with since Hurricane Ian, Vinny and his team stand out as the best by far. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch roofing work done with professionalism and care.

Great experience during this fast room addition! We initially used L&V Roofing for our roof replacement after hurricane Ian and reached out to them as we considered a room addition to the home. So glad that we did! Vinnie and his team are reliable and a pleasure to work with. They do quality work from start to finish including concrete, block, framing, roofing and more. Very happy with the finished job! Only 4 months from footings to final inspections! Highly recommended. I will definitely use L&V roofing for any future building projects.

We just had Vinny come out and help us find a solution for our leaking flat roof. Vinny recommended a two ply solution for us that we can now tile over and gave us a fair price to get the job done. He was communicative, returned calls, turned up when he said he would and did a great job. The best roofing experience we have had and after three hurricanes, we have had a few.! We highly recommend L & V roofing!

I had L&V out a few years ago to repair my tile roof. They did a great job. So after my roof was destroyed by Ian I had them come and replace with a steel metal roof supplied by Overholt. We had problems right away. The first part of the roof was on the north side. It looks like a roller coaster. I called right away and was told that it was a truss problem and very costly to fix but no worries roof if is fine. All lies. When they installed the panels they toenailed them in and then came back later to finishing screwing them down. Between that and screwing down the panels through the ribs caused the panel to cup horizontally and roller coaster vertically. Next came the valleys. I noticed that when they laid the panels in the valleys they did not trim them and they were uneven.. No worries. They trimmed them after installing them and they do look better but the are not even and the edges are jagged. There is not a panel that is not scratched. Some are deep, some are long, and many are small and grouped together. I am not exaggerating. There are no panels that don’t have a scratch in them.I have pictures to back this up. I have had a licensed professional home inspect the roof . He stated it was the poorest quality job he had ever seen. I also had 3 roofing companies come out to see if this job could be repaired and saved. All 3 stated that if this roof isn’t leaking now it will be in the near future.. The fix. Rip it off and replace it. Vinnie stated to me that he would refund all my money by Friday August 11th. Never happened. I think it is hilarious but if you spread out the picture on L&V site and look close in the metal valley you will see that some of the panels are cupped and not laying flat in the valley. Not as bad as mine but it’s there.
