I saw Capt. Chris Broome on an episode of Blair Wiggins Outdoors fishing in Marco Island. I called up Chris and booked a June slot for my son and me. The trip was nothing short of epic with 5 snook landed 36" - 38" and 2 over 40" lost at the boat. I have been fishing in FL for over 40 years and this is without a doubt one of the best inshore guide trips taken. I have fished with many guides, some who take it a little too serious and yell when you lose a fish or don't cast to the right spot. Chris is laid back and informative as a guide should be. Give Chris a chance, you will not regret it.
My trip with Chris wasn't quite what I hoped for. He was running late to start and we didn't reach the first spot until about 8:50 AM. We fished the entire time with artificial lures since there was no live bait. Nope, not even shrimp. If you're looking to catch ladyfish, he's definitely the guy to book with, but for anything beyond that, the trip felt rushed and underwhelming. Especially with heading back right at noon.

Captain Chris is an excellent choice for catching fish and enjoying you day on the water. We could not have been more happy with our decision to hire Clean Sweep Charters. We caught lots of fish, had lots of laughs, and felt comfortable the minute we got on the boat. The boat was clean and the rods and reels were in very good shape.
