If you are looking for a fishing guide who is passionate about their job then look no further because Captain Shawn is A+++ We had a fun filled morning with Shawn. His knowledge, patience, and encouragement was superb! He taught our 6 year old to cast and reel 'em in and she had so much Fun! The catch phrase was " I got one! I got one!" Shawn was so great and he shared stories and taught us a lot during our 4 hours with him! We caught trout, lady fish, a lizard fish, catfish, and a Shark!! He even cleaned and fileted the trout we caught! He wants you to enjoy fishing and to catch fish! He works hard to find those fishing spots to make the most out of the time! We thoroughly enjoyed the morning making memories and will be back next year fishing with Captain Shawn!! If you are looking for a fishing charter, please give Shawn the opportunity to help make those family memories! It was the best morning that we will remember for a long time!
Great to be back on Sanibel Island after the hurricane 3 years ago and wanted to get a charter in with my family. Had a great trip with Shawn who I had gone out with many years ago. He knows the sweet spots and we caught a great variety of fish and we even got a few of our bucket list. If you want an awesome experience Shawn is the Captain to use !!
Capt Shawn took my son and I fishing and it was a great experience. He knew where the fish were and we had a blast. We caught enough to have a feast for our family dinner as well as a few lunches the following days. Capt Shawn does all the work and provides for a great day on the water. We chose 1/2 day. He docks at McCarthy's marina. We will definitely go again.
Captain Shawn Kelly gave us a wonderful experience my family will always remember. We caught several Lady Fish, Sea Trout, one Sunfish, and one Catfish. We had hooked a large shark but the line snapped. Yet did reel in a 30” Reef Shark. We were amazed to watch about a dozen Manatee playing around our boat. 3 Bald Eagles capped our fabulous day with Captain Kelly. Shawn did a great job showing my teenagers how to fish with different baits. We kept him busy by constantly catching fish. Perfect 73 degree weather made our outing an easy 5 Star experience.
