Food was amazing, first time eating here and it did not disappoint at all, everything we ate was amazing and the drinks were amazing. For sure one of the best italian restaurant I have tried.
First time on a Wednesday evening, another over priced and loud Italian venue. Waiter who stiffened up when we were not interested in a bottle of wine. He checked on us once when the food arrived. So many choices in Naples, we do not understand the rave trviews.
Excellent service! Waiter was friendly, smiling, conversational, and attentive without being intrusive. Prices were very reasonable... We split a salad, and each ordered HALF portions of pasta....which was perfect! The patio at night was beautiful.... Only negative was that the pastas were heavy and not hot...and a small lamp on the table would have added a nice touch!
Very odd place. We were a group of 8. Half adults and half kids under 10. The place was pretty but very elderly. We ordered a bunch of apps and food. What I personally had or shared with my kids and wife. Steak Gnocchi Milk braised pork Risotto Fish - snapper piccata Other folks had chicken and not sure. The best of the bunch was the Pork. Fish was dried out after being fried. Steak was super bland and we asked for medium and it was served well done. The risotto rates just weird. Normally I really enjoy mushroom risotto but this wasn’t mushroom. Everyone in our group was under 50. We sat outside which was nice. But the food just wasn’t very good. I’d have drinks there…..when I’m like 70.
Sadly, this is not the same restaurant. I've been going here for 40 years and it had been one of my favorite restaurants. I had dinner there yesterday and was treated rudely by my waiter. I have eaten gluten free for 15 years, and he insisted that the dish that I ordered (for many years) came naturally gluten free and it was the Short Ribs and spaghetti! Now anyone that eats gluten free will suspect that a dish from an Italian restaurant is not naturally gluten free. Our server, who said he was a supervisor insisted that it was served gluten free. When the meal arrived, there was no way of knowing that the pasta was gluten free, no marker or distinguishing sign. After speaking with a manager because the server was so arrogant and rude to me to question him, they finally made my dish again with gluten free pasta and comped my food, but treated me like I was being difficult! My son finished his meal before mine arrived. What a terrible experience, when it should have been an enjoyable one. I called to speak to Ben, the assistant manager, to tell him what happened, and now I know why things are not the same there. He sounded just like the server!
