They hassle you to death about what you bring. Had 2 bags of household garbage and about 10 pvc blinds and a bunch of cardboard from the shutters I replaced them with in the house. Nope she said. Cant take the blinds or the plastic around the cardboard. She actually came out of the booth and rifled through the back of the truck!!!!!! I said, you got bins right there that say-NON BURNABLES. She still refused. I said what do you want people to bring you only wood pellets and gasoline to fire your furnace? I just turned around and took it all the way to the dump on 79. Too much head ache.
Not really very good for anything but burnable. Their documentation on the Bay County web page clearly says Construction Debris as items they will take but does add they can only take a small amount. I called to double check and said that I had a short bed F-150 1/2 full of drywall, a few 2x4's and tile from a bathroom remodel. TOO MUCH! I guess they expect construction debris in 5 gal bucket quantities.
Great value for us to dispose of our garbage compared to a company to do it for us. Instead of threatening to close it down, we should also implement a recycling facility there for recyclables.
