Great little beach made for relaxation. Plenty of fishing and shelling and oh yeah, walking if you want that. Also just sitn in the sun 🌞 im told the walk in from parking isn't too bad, about 3/4 of a mile thru the trees. Come out and enjoy Florida, after all, isn't that why we're all here 😉 😏

This place is so beautiful and clean. I love the water, most of the time it’s clear and cool. The waves, just right and if you come early parking isn’t such a problem, key word being come early! The bathrooms have been fixed since the last hurricane so that’s good. They would benefit from some type of shower/water station but otherwise it’s perfect. Hope you #enjoy your day soaking up the sun ☀️. Until our next adventure! See you soon ❤️

The beaches are stunning, clean and easilyaccessible. Only wish the last parking area had some type of restrooms.. There's a ranger we met a few times there, he is super nice very pleasant and informative on any questions we had.I belive his name is Andrew,

Tonight felt like a little love letter from Florida. 🌅✨🌴🥥 Check out our YouTube Channel SamnSevTravels Barefoot Island Beach Preserve welcomed us with the softest sand, just-warm enough water, and a sunset so magical it stopped everything around us. The views were spectacular in every direction hotel silhouettes glowing on the horizon, families laughing, friendly strangers waving as they passed by. It felt peaceful… like the whole island was breathing with us... I walked toward the entrance of the beach and noticed something special: the first parking lot lines up perfectly with the sunset, right in the center of those beautiful walk-path pillars. Photographers this is your golden spot. Trust me, this is where the magic happens. ✨ There are three parking lots total, and if you follow the road all the way to the end of the island, you’ll find the other two. But that first one? That’s the one that gave me the shot of the night. The pictures came out absolutely marvelous… The kind you look at twice because they don’t even feel real! Barefoot Island, you were soft, warm, friendly, and unforgettable. 🌴📸💛 Already counting down to the next sunset here... Hope you all enjoy the pictures!!
