Capt. Minel and Pete gave my 3 friends and I the trip of a lifetime. After a different charter had boat issues at the last minute, Jim responded quickly and got us booked in less than 30 hours from our charter time. We arrived at 5:58, and pushed off the dock at 6:00 sharp. The boat was clean, and the staff was organized, prepared, knowledgeable, and friendly. We saw a loggerhead turtle, dolphins, and even got hooked up on a Goliath grouper and a 14ft hammerhead shark. They were epic battles that we’ll never forget. We caught 5 species of snapper and 3 species of grouper. In addition to 5 other random species. The combination of variety, action, big fish, and A+ staff made this our group’s favorite annual fishing charter to date. I highly recommend A & B. Capt. Minel is absolutely dialed and knows his spots. Pete is a unit and will do anything to help land a fish. Jim is the man. They even recommended going across the street to Pinchers to have our fish cooked into delicious tacos. Look no further than A & B!

Hands down one of the best fishing trips me and my brother have ever been on. We fish a lot, and I’ve never had a mate work as hard as this guy did. Didn’t let us touch bait one time — he rigged every rod, set every bait, and stayed on top of everything all day long. The mate and captain were both amazing, super friendly, and worked hard all day to make sure we stayed on fish and had a great time. We caught more grouper than I’ve ever caught in my life, and I landed the biggest permit I’ve ever seen in person. Full day trip flew by because we were catching fish and having a blast the whole time. Boat was clean, spacious, comfortable, and set up perfect for fishing. Couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water. We’ll definitely be booking again.

Best fishing trip I’ve ever been on (outside of the Great Lakes)! Our Captain, Minel and first Mate, Michael were the absolute BEST!!! They were both very attentive to our group as far as making sure we all had fresh bait on our lines at all times, rushing over to help us all reel in fish if we were struggling, and teaching us how to properly cast our lines. The boat had shade for my dad who was older and preferred to sit and watch us at times. And the boat also had a potty on board which was very nice. Capt. Minel made sure we got our money’s worth out of this trip; right down to the way he maneuvered the anchor, each time we stopped and went to a new spot. Time is money….and he didn’t waste anytime whatsoever! If you want to try deep sea fishing then I 100% recommend you book through this fishing charter. And, if you want an outstanding captain then make sure you request Captain Minel 👍

We had a group of 8 for half day morning trip and had an amazing time. We caught a bunch of snapper a couple grouper and more. Captain Minel Baez was very knowledgeable and experienced. Both Minel and first mate Pete were right there when fish were on and had bate ready for us to put back in the water. The highlight of our trip was catching and fighting a large tiger shark! After trip was done all our snapper were filleted and bagged for us to take and cook ourselves. Would highly recommend captain Minel!

A&B Charters manned by Captain Jim was an unbelievable experience!! One challenge is not all accommodate larger groups. Not a problem with Captain Jim! We had eight in our group and we were more than comfortable. Fishing was phenomenal on our day, but as we all know, weather can impact your productivity level. Regardless, Minel and Petey guided us to where all the fish were hitting, and they told some great stories along the way! A few of my favorites were the Bear and Hog hunting … and the log strategically wrapped up JimmyJohn wrapper. If you’re looking for some family fun, call Captain Jim as his crew will not steer you wrong!
