I am so happy I called 5 Star Air for a second opinion. Another company had come out to provide a check on my three aer-conditioning units and they told me that my ductwork had mold and needed to be replaced and it was gonna be $4500. It sounded suspicious because I bought the home 8 months ago and got a passing home inspection but he showed my husband pictures of the unit. I called 5 Star Air and they came out the same day and informed me my ductwork was only three or four years old and in good shape and no signs of mold. Saved me $4500! Thank goodness for good honest companies like 5 Star Air.
I had 5 different companies provide estimates for a new Trane 21 SEER2 system. Of all 5 estimated, two companies provide similar estimates with the 3 other almost 10k above 5Star. Matt Armstrong representing 5Star had all the answers that I needed to go with them. Most importantly to me was the employees are not on commission. They were on time and clean. The system is working great and we would recommend 5 Star to people who want honest answers followed by quality workmanship.
I called 5 Star Air around 11am and they had a technician out by 2pm the same day. He diagnosed the system and called and explained everything to me. He was knowledgeable and honest. Great service.
I had my next scheduled service, the tech (Nicholas) was polite, friendly, and efficient. He took time to explain tips to ensure my a/c unit would continue to support my home. Excellent service and experience from 5 Star AC!!!
